Don't let the term confuse you; we are all volunteers. And you can be too. We have many positions to fill and we are looking for help. These are not glamorous jobs but they are just as critical to the success of our mission as those contributing software and resources.
GOSP Level Management
Director -- Ted Young (William Meriic, U.S.): Responsible for managing all aspects of The GlyphStudy Open-Source Projects website and project management site. The director is primarily responsible for coordinating efforts and volunteers, managing resource access, and being the deciding vote when a consensus cannot be arrived. Aiding the director are the deputy director, the site manager, and the list manager.
Deputy Director -- Bob Manske: Assists the director in his/her tasks. The deputy should take this opportunity to learn the role of director as he/she will be asked to take over when the director steps down.
Site Manager -- Vincent Brown: Responsible for managing the GOSP website and access to its management features. The site manager is also responsible for developing and maintaining content found on the GOSP website. Aiding the site manager is the assistant site manager.
Assistant Site Manager -- WANTED!: Assists the site manager in his/her tasks.
List Manager -- Jerry McCarthy (U.K.): Responsible for managing the GOSP mailing lists and access to its management features. Aiding the list manager is the assistant list manager.
Assistant List Manager -- WANTED!: Assists the list manager in his/her tasks.
Project Level Management
Project Manager: Responsible for managing all aspects of individual projects under the GOSP umbrella. This includes coordinator of volunteers and efforts, the project's short-term and long-term goals and strategies, and product releases. Project managers for each project can be found on the corresponding project pages. Aiding the project manager is the deputy project manager.
Deputy Project Manager: Assists the project manager in his/her tasks. The deputy should take this opportunity to learn the role of project manager as he/she will be asked to take over when the project manager steps down.
